Now Accepting Applications: Counseling Center Student Representative (CCSR) Program

The Iona University Counseling Center is excited to announce that applications are now open for the Counseling Center Student Representative (CCSR) Program. This a leadership and professional development opportunity for students who are passionate about mental health awareness, community-building, and campus wellbeing.

The CCSR Program is designed for students who want to make a meaningful impact on our campus. Student representatives work closely with Counseling Center staff to:

• Support outreach events and wellness initiatives
• Promote mental health resources to the student body
• Provide feedback on students’ needs and help shape future programming
• Serve as peer voices in campuswide wellbeing efforts

CCSRs gain hands-on experience in leadership, communication, outreach, and mental-health advocacy—skills that benefit students in any field of study and future career path. All majors are welcome, and no prior experience is required.

Key Details:
• Gain hands-on experience.
• Open to all Iona students, undergraduate and graduate, regardless of major.
• No prior experience required.
Application Deadline: December 31.
