2025 MLK Day of Service, 1/19
In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Iona University will partner with the Fuller Center of N.Y. for a day of service to build affordable housing. The project will take place on Sunday, January 19 with breakfast at 9 a.m. in Burke Lounge, followed by a day of home building in Westchester County. Transportation will be provided, and we will arrive back on campus by 3 p.m. Faculty, staff, and students are all welcome to participate!
New North Avenue Traffic Pattern
Please be advised that beginning on January 7, due to construction, all northbound North Avenue traffic (heading toward Iona) by the New Rochelle train station will be one way. All southbound traffic on North Avenue heading toward the New Rochelle train station will be detoured to Lockwood Ave. and directed to Memorial Highway.
Because of these changes, the Gael Express may experience delays due to traffic. Please see this link from the NYS Thruway Authority for further more information.
