Taizé Prayer Night, 9/2
Join the Office of Mission & Ministry on Tuesday, September 2, at 7 p.m., for our monthly Taizé Prayer Nights in the Blessed Edmund Rice Chapel.
All are welcome to join us for a time of reflection, prayer and song in the Taizé style.
Please note that due to ongoing construction, you must enter the Chapel by using the rear service road across from the Montgomery House.
University Council Meeting, 9/3
The University Council will hold its first meeting of the academic year on Wednesday, September 3, at 3:30 p.m. via Zoom. All members of the Iona community are welcome to attend. A link for the meeting is provided below.
For those unfamiliar with the workings of the Council, its role is two-fold:
1) To hear timely reports on the actions, initiatives and ongoing discussions undertaken by senior leadership, constituent assemblies (Student Government Association, Staff and Administrative Council and the Faculty Senate) and governance and non-governance committees.
2) To deliberate upon and, where appropriate, to vote to endorse significant proposals impacting the University.

Mass of the Holy Spirit, 9/8
The Mass of the Holy Spirit will take place in Spellman Burke Lounge on Monday, September 8, at 12:30 p.m. The Mass of the Holy Spirit has been a staple in bringing together and celebrating the rich diversity and countless gifts of the Iona community, as we ask for God’s blessings on the new academic year. All members of the Iona community are invited to join in this celebration as we kick off the 2025-2026 year.
A lunch reception will take place in the LaPenta Student Union McGrath Room following the Mass.

Fight the Good Fight at the NYC Tunnel to Towers 5K
Don’t miss your chance to join this inspiring run/walk on Sunday, September 28, at 9:30 a.m. in NYC. Tunnel to Towers is offering Iona University a special $60 ratefor students, staff, alumni, friends and family (valid through race day.) Children 14 & under are free with registration.

A Message from Campus Safety
Welcome back to all students, faculty and staff. As we begin a new academic year, please read through these important updates.
Parking Regulations & Permits
Parking permit enforcement will be suspended for the first two weeks of the Fall semester. This timeframe will give everyone an opportunity to register their vehicle and pick up their parking permit. All other parking restrictions remain in effect. Parking permit enforcement begins on September 9.
The Parking & Traffic Regulations as well as the parking permit application can be found here. For those authorized to obtain a parking permit, please fill out the Vehicle Registration Form.
After you complete the vehicle registration form, you will be issued a confirmation document. When you come to pick up your permit, please bring a printout or screenshot of the confirmation document. Parking permits can be picked up at any time.
Columba Lot
As a reminder, on weekdays, students may park in the Columba Lot beginning at 4 p.m. Prior to 4 p.m., the Columba Lot spaces are reserved for faculty and staff.
Gael Express Shuttle
Information and schedules for the Gael Express Shuttle can be found here. Please note that there is now expanded Bronxville shuttle service.

If you did not receive the test notification text on Tuesday, September 2, please sign up or renew your account here.
Campus Safety is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and can be reached at (914) 633-2560 on the New Rochelle campus and at (914) 654-6100 on the Bronxville campus.
Budget Managers with Adaptive Planning Access: Log In with SSO
As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline access and improve security, Adaptive should now be accessed through Single Sign-On (SSO) at myiona.iona.edu.
When signing in:
• enter your Iona email address;
• leave the password field blank and press "Enter."
This process ensures your login is routed through SSO, in preparation for the deprecation of the old Adaptive credentials.
Please begin using this method immediately to avoid disruptions. Direct Adaptive Planning login will no longer be available as of September 22.
If you encounter any issues logging in, please submit an IT work order.

Gymnastics and Tumbling Lessons
The Iona acrobatics and tumbling team, after coming off a 6th place national finish, are excited to announce they will be coaching discounted tumbling and gymnastics lessons to grades K-6th in the Fall to our local community! Sign up today as spots are limited.
IonaGaels Wi-Fi
The Office of Information Technology is pleased to announce a major upgrade to the University’s Wi-Fi network, aimed at improving security, connectivity and convenience for our campus community.
A new Wi-Fi network, "IonaGaels," is now available for use on personal devices.
Please visit wifi.iona.edu for setup instructions.
Choose IonaGaels to connect to your phone or laptops. Once connected, devices will remain authenticated for up to five years, offering a more seamless, reliable and uninterrupted user experience.
Choose IonaDevices to connect gaming, streaming or other specialty devices
Any guest of Iona can use IonaGuest to gain 24 hour access to WIFI connection
