Iona University Ticketing Platform Update

Iona University has officially transitioned its ticketing provider to Vivenu, our new digital ticketing platform. Through Vivenu, students, faculty and staff can access and manage their tickets for athletics and performing arts events, add tickets to their Apple and/or Google Wallet, and transfer tickets to family and friends through a more streamlined ticketing experience. 

Information for Students, Faculty and Staff
Members of the Iona community should access Vivenu by visiting IonaTickets.com or through the new MyIona Portal (my.iona.edu). If this is your first time accessing Vivenu, you do not need to create a new account. When you arrive at the sign-in page, select "Iona SSO" under the "Sign in with..." section and log in using your Iona credentials. Your account access will be established automatically through the University's Single Sign-On process.

Do not attempt to sign in using the email address associated with the previous ticketing platform (even if it was your Iona University email), and do not select "Register for Free." These options are intended for external customers and will not provide access to faculty, staff, or student pricing and benefits. Using Iona SSO ensures your University affiliation is recognized and guarantees the appropriate access, ticket offers, and discounted pricing available to members of the Iona community.

Employee/Student Ticket Benefits
All Iona University employees can claim up to two free general admission tickets for every basketball game, while all Iona University students may claim one free ticket per game in the student section.

Important Need-to-Knows
If you plan to purchase, or have previously purchased, chairback season tickets as an Iona University employee, please ensure you are logging in using the Iona SSO option, as this will ensure your new account is tagged accordingly as an Iona employee. All Iona employees are exempt from the mandatory Iona Seat Premium (ISP) that is typically required for chairback and/or courtside seats.

Once logged in, you can:

  • View active and upcoming tickets
  • Access and download digital tickets
  • Save tickets to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet
  • Transfer tickets to family, friends or guests
  • Manage account information and ticket history

Faculty, students and staff are encouraged to log in and familiarize themselves with their accounts before the start of the fall athletics season. Questions? Contact the Iona Ticket Office at tickets@iona.edu or (914) 633-2491.

Parking Permits and Information

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to campus! Please read this message carefully as parking enforcement will begin on September 7.

Parking Permits
All vehicles parking on campus must have a valid Iona University parking permit. Permits can be obtained by filling out the online Vehicle Registration Form located here.

Once the vehicle is registered, you can stop by the Campus Safety office located in the LaPenta Student Union Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. to pick up your permit. Temporary permits are also available in the Campus Safety office.

Student Parking (commuters, junior and senior residential students)
Students can park in any white-lined parking space. The Columba lot is reserved for employees only, but can be used by students after 4 p.m. Expect heavy enforcement of the Columba parking lot before 4 p.m.

Residential students are not allowed to park on city streets near Iona University. Violators are subject to a $250 student conduct fine.

Overnight Parking
Overnight vehicles should park in the garage. If the garage is locked, please call Campus Safety at (914) 633-2560 any time to be allowed access. As per the City of New Rochelle, overnight parking is not allowed in the Summit Avenue lot or the Murphy lot.

Important Announcement: Mirage Diner, Starbucks 730 North Ave., and McDonald's Parking
Iona University does not control these parking lots. Only customers patronizing these businesses are allowed to park in their lots. If you park there and leave the property (even after patronizing the business), you will be booted by Avalon Towing.

Reminder: Accessing the New MyIona Portal

As a reminder, to ensure you're accessing the latest version of the MyIona portal that launched on June 22, 2026, please use the URL my.iona.edu rather than any saved bookmarks or previously used links.

If you experience any issues accessing the updated portal, please review this email or reach out to the Help Desk. 

New Executive Chef for Chartwells

Join us in welcoming our new executive chef for Chartwells, Mark J. Woinoski, C.E.C., C.C.A. Mark comes to Iona as a seasoned executive chef and culinary operations leader with broad experience across sports venues, catering, restaurants, private clubs, cruise lines, and large-scale hospitality operations. He brings proven strength in team leadership, menu development, budget control, inventory management, high-volume service and multi-outlet operations. Entrepreneurship Fair, 9/2

Learn what entrepreneurship is all about and how students from all majors can succeed in entrepreneurship. Join us to discover resources, opportunities, and ways to get involved!

Get Involved with Esports

We are excited to share that Iona esports will have 18 new CyberPowerPCs with AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processors and Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB graphics cards this fall, as well as two Nintendo Switch 2 systems.

The 2026-27 season will also feature exciting new opportunities, including competition in the PlayVS Premier Collegiate League (PCL), new casual and competitive leagues, and the addition of new game titles such as College Football 27, EA SPORTS FC 27, Madden NFL 27, and Mario Kart™ 8 Deluxe.

Whether you’re just starting to think about your future or looking to build connections, Quick Connect makes it simple to get started. Complete the Quick Connect sign-up form to be matched with an alum aligned with your interests and goals. Once a match is identified, a member of the Alumni Engagement team will follow up with next steps.

Columba Parking Lot Exit Closure Notice

As construction work on the Upper Green continues, periodic closures of the Columba parking lot exit are expected over the coming weeks. When the exit is closed and coned off, please use the McSpedon roadway as the designated alternate route to exit the parking lot. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we complete these improvements safely and efficiently.

Research Companies Like a Pro: Market Research Made Easy with Market Atlas, 9/10

The Library will demonstrate how to use the updated Mergent research tool, Market Atlas. Market Atlas is especially useful for business researchers, entrepreneurs, and those researching companies and industries for projects, internships and career opportunities.
