PSY 614 - HYA - Intro to Counseling

This course provides an introduction to the role of counseling as a school psychologist. Emphasis will be placed on best practices, ethical and legal concerns, working within a multi-tiered system of support, and working with families and teachers. Furthermore, specific orientations will also be covered, including both directive and non-directive approaches.
